The annual not-to-be-missed event will take place in Paris at the Parc des Expositions from 29th October to 2nd November.
For its 20th anniversary in Paris, the event is supported by the French President, François Hollande and 130,000 people are expected to visit the 20,000 sqm fair exclusively dedicated to chocolate. The fair will host more than 500 participants, including 200 chefs and pastry chef from all over the world as well as 200 international exhibitors.
Must-see events include the Cocoa Show, live chocolate-making demonstrations by some of the world’s best chocolatiers, talk and tasting sessions and of course, the fabulous Chocolate Fashion Show.
The show will be taking place over 2 floors, with the ground floor dedicated to the celebration of this magical product with performance art, culinary workshops and artistic performances. The first floor will host many major companies involved in chocolate.
Foodies and chocolate lovers will have access to the Artchoc’olat exhibition where famous artists, sculptors, photographers and culinary artists will make the starring product appear at its best: reproduction of statues, light & chocolate artwork, chocolate in perpetual motion and animated cakes…
Year after year, the Salon du Chocolat has become the place to be for chocolate lovers, who are offered a chance to discover everything there is to know about chocolate from the humble cocoa bean to the delicious finished product. Visitors will not only discover chocolate trends for the year but also the traditions and savoir-faire hidden behind a seemingly simple bar of chocolate and of course, be able to buy the world’s finest chocolate at a great price.
The entrance price is €14 for adults, €6.50 for children and free for under-3s. You are advised to buy your ticked online in advance to avoid queues on the day.
