Le printemps du cinéma

Every year the French can’t wait for the Printemps du Cinéma, an event which takes place for 3 days in March that offers cinema tickets on the cheap.With 2.8 million sold in 2010, this event created in 2000 is a long-awaited one.

This year the ambassadors of the Printemps du Cinéma are: Anaïs Demoustier, Audrey Lamy, Géraldine Nakache, Elisa Sednaoui, Karin Viard, Cédric Klapisch, Gilles Lellouche, Raphaël Personnaz and Clément Sibony.

So, if you are in France from March 20th to March 22nd you will be able to go to the cinema for only 3.50 Euros (3£) wherever you are in the country.


Those 3 days are a great opportunity to watch new American films and discover French ones. This rate is for all films whether they are new or already showing, except 3D movies (you’ll have to pay a little extra).
